Description

As a cub heliacal was always a cheerful fun-loving child. As he grew his parents began to notice how one moment their baby could go from queitly playing too immediately breaking down into tears, clutching his head from a sudden headache.

As time pasted and heliacal grew older his headaches morphed into migranes leaving the young prince mewling constantly for his parents unable to move from his bed in what seemed to be every other day. With numerous sleepless nights and worrisome days both of his parents did their best to soothe his pained tears in hopes he'd finally fined some sense of rest while doctors worked tirelessly to find what exactly was happening with their prince.

New symptoms quickly arose within the Prince. His once tamed magic at random would grow chaotic-sparking out of control, sabotaging whatever was around him. To unpredictable seizers that'd leave him immobile days when he'd come back around.

Finally his doctors discovered what was wrong with him, leaving his parents heartbroken upon his diagnosis; a brain tumor. One of the few diagnosis's that magic could not cure throughout equestria. Sadly with both of his parents immortal, doctors had trouble placing if it could eventually be the death of their son.

Terrified for their sons well being both Celestia and Discord agreed it'd be best to have heliacal remain within the palace, remaining by either of their sides at all times in to keep a watchful eye on him. While the other would researched and work on creating a spell to save their sons life.

Maybe they shouldn't have relied on magic for this kind of stuff (or in general).

But it was probably a "If it ain't broke don't fix it situation".
