Since it's been a couple years since I uploaded the first Song-a-ma-gig journal. I'd thought I'd update it (since there's a ton of new songs I've discovered haha- i really need to get a Spotify) but this is for those who'd like a different insight to my characters (most songs have a pretty good depiction for specific characters) or maybe be you want to explore new songs.

But noooo they're all off spouting how stylist are just as essential now more than ever these days.

Shut up and stay home you idiots. All we need is to spread it more because we stylists deal with close space contact with multiple individuals everyday. We might be quote on quote "safe" even if we were bundled up and wearing protective wear *that the medical field needs*. But what's to stop us from infecting others if again we work with the public and cause the disease to spread more?
Haircuts are nice but it won't literally kill people to wait to get one.

Change over Time
As I was about to head out this poor boy burst into tears in front of me. He sobbed to me that his art was nothing like mine and would never be as good.
I personally know that struggle. It took myself a while to get my head out of feeling my work wasn't good enough compared to others growing up.
So I asked the teacher to have him be my personal escort out to the front desk so I could chat with him a bit.
While we were walking I told him that we're both in the same boat. The art we're creating today is the best work we've ever made and that our art in the future we create will be even better than what we've created now. Our art changes overtime, it always has and always will. The stuff we've created in the past shows us that. But we should always love and cherish the work we've made.
In the end he did cheer up a bit.
But I wanted to bring this to your guy's attention too. We've all started somewhere and have grown with our creations as well and we all will continue to grow with them- that includes myself as well.
We're all in the same boat, we just have our own unique appoarch to steering its direction~!
